Born 13th November, 1927 at Vanrhynsdorp, Nama Karoo, South Africa.
Deceased 22nd December, 1997 at Harare, Zimbabwe.
Mostly self-taught as a painter.
1968 First exhibited in the National Gallery of Zimbabwe Annuals.
Participated in most of the Annuals from 1968 – 1987.
Exhibited in numerous group exhibitions both locally and abroad.
His works are to be found in the Permanent Collection of the National Gallery of Zimbabwe and the Mobil Collection in Harare; as well as in private collections in various countries in Africa and Europe, in America, Canada, Brazil, Israel, Australia and New Zealand.
1986 Awarded special mention for contributing towards Contemporary Zimbabwean Painting – National Gallery of Zimbabwe.
1987 Received an award of merit for his contributions.
