I Love You Positive or Negative
In 2005, Design Hope launched the campaign message: “I Love You Positive or Negative”.
This message of love and respect, aims at at fighting stigma and discrimination that people living with HIV/AIDS can experience, in their family, workplace and community context of daily life.
This message has been spread through national networks, as well as in rural communities through outreach programs, open-air theatre plays and screenings, and support groups animations.
More than 120 international artists have brought their contribution to this campaign, emphasizing the universal need for love and support, regardless of HIV status.
Artworks have been exhibited in galleries in Africa and Europe, and visuals, associated with awareness messages, have been used in many ways, printed on posters, and on millions of condom packs, distributed in 6 countries.
